About Scamper Laboratories

Scamper Labs is a showcase for the work of Jeff “Scamper” Robinson, master design wizard, raconteur, sometime thaumaturge, and general bon vivant. Based in California’s Bay Area, we’ve been playing our trade for nigh 20 years, and referring to ourselves in the third-person plural for nearly as long.

In the daylight hours Scamper has worked at such illustrious concerns as Worlds Inc., LookSmart Ltd., Technorati, and Scout Labs. When the moon is out he tends to lend his hand to more subversive campaigns that call for logo or icon design, business cards, or one-off sites.

Scamper is a tireless advocate for clean design, and a consistent presentation that highlights the content, while eschewing meaningless marketing babble and rococo flourishes. (For a price, Scamper will design sites that consist of nothing but marketing babble and rococo flourishes. You’d be surprised by how low this price is.)

Scamper is currently in the process of finishing his first novel, and he sometimes dabbles at music and photography… just enough to maintain his dilettante cred. He is also addicted to video games, and chocolate.
